We're Putting Our Website on Hold,
But Not Our Commitment to Asbury Park!

Dear Friends:

As many of you know, Kate was sworn in as a member of the Asbury Park city council on July 1, 2001. We have been actively involved in Asbury Park causes for many years, as residents and business owners, and we decided that the time had come to see if Kate could make a positive difference from inside city hall.

Because the city council position is claiming so much of Kate's time, it has become painfully clear that we can no longer offer the level of service our new and old customers deserve....and keep our sanity at the same time!

After a few weeks of soul-searching, we have decided to indefinitely suspend our website and on-line catalog. (As you may also know, we closed our bricks-and-mortar gallery back in September.)

Are we going away? Definitely not!   In fact, we'll be more involved in every aspect of Asbury Park's rebirth than ever. We're just taking on a different role.

What's the best way to keep up with Asbury Park? Just bookmark our favorite local website (asburypark.net), and don't forget to check in with our friends at Save Tillie, the volunteer organization that is working to save Asbury Park's famed Palace Amusements building (www.homestead.com/savetillie/home.html).

And please look for us and say "hi" when you come to Asbury Park events.

Need to reach us? We still check our e-mail at cleopatra@monmouth.com

Thanks for being there, and keep your fingers crossed for us and Asbury Park!

Love,

Kate and Dave
